John David has been active as an institutional investor across private and public asset classes for the past 25 years.

Most recently, he was Managing Director of Investment Strategy for Palamon Capital Partners, a pan-European private equity sponsor with multiple funds focused on mid-market growth services businesses.

Prior to this, he was the Global Strategist for the publicly-listed Allstate Insurance Company’s investment portfolios, with a focus on non-US investing and asset allocation.

His early background included roles as manager for interest rate, credit and currency portfolios in developed and emerging markets, and in derivatives research and trading for both Wall Street and proprietary trading firms. John earned an AB degree from Harvard University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He is a US national based in London.
